Raise your hand if you have tons and tons of bottles of soaps, lotions, and shampoo just sitting in your shower, or stored away under your sink. I mean honestly how many bottles of useless hair products, sprays and lotions do you have? If you’re anything like me way back when, then you sure as heck have so many you simply don’t know what to do with them! So here are some tips on how to reduce your waste and plastic use in your bathroom…
Note: If you already have perfectly good lotions or products, don’t just toss them! Use them up first! This goes for all the following…such as your toothbrush!
in the shower
hair: a shampoo bar and diy conditioner, body wash: soap bars or make your own!
lotions
Make your own with shea butter or buy from ethical companies!
toothbrush
I personally use a bamboo toothbrush!
toothpaste
Use toothpaste powder (Amazon) or make your own!
deoderant
hair brush
Just keep the one you own! And when you need a new one get a wooden brush!
floss
toilet paper
perfumes
I personally love to use a mix of essential oils and water!
razor
Go old school! Metal or wooden razor!
